For background about me I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science. My prior tutoring experiences include working as a substitute teacher and tutor at Old Bridge High School and tutoring classmates in college. I help the students learn concepts by breaking down problems step-by-step and working through solution the together. As a tutor I aim to help people figure out how to approach problems with confidence and support students by figuring out their specific needs. One of the key aspects of being a tutor is to listen to the student and understand her unique learning style, whether it is adjusting my pace or re-explaining concepts. I have a real passion for helping students and I find incredibly rewarding when a student performs well on their assignments because of my support and our work together.
