About Me
I am currently a graduate student at Columbia University School of Social Work, and a recent graduate of Howard University, where I earned my degree in Human Development with a minor in Political Science. My academic journey, along with my experience working closely with children and families in community-based settings, has shaped my passion for supporting students in meaningful and personalized ways. I truly enjoy building connections with students and creating a space where they feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace. My work within education and youth programs has taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, and meeting each student where they are. As a tutor, my goal is not just to help students succeed in their coursework but to help them feel more confident, capable, and excited about learning.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy playing volleyball, baking cookies, and watching movies with my sister. In my free time, I also like trying new coffee spots, reading, and listening to music.
