About Me

Hi! My name is Catherine Garner. I am about to graduate college at Hannibal-Lagrange University with a Bachelors in English and a Minor in Christian Studies, and I am super excited to apply my degree by helping students with their written works! As your tutor, I want to push you to think critically in your writing, and push you to do better, but I also want to meet you where you are and really encourage you in where you excel. I have expertise in creative work but can still help with the technical aspects of an academic paper. I also have been able to extensively study many pieces of great literature through my degree program, and I'm very familiar with methods to analyze said works. I have been helping friends and family members with their writing for many years. I want to see you improve in your writing, and I strive to treat each and every student with respect and dignity.
