All those variables and vertices...and some numbers are even imaginary. My goal has always been to demystify Math and while some may never love it - you can at least understand it. My goal has always been to not only show "How" to tackle a problem - but "Why" you are doing what you do and unlock personal understanding. 20 years experience in teaching and tutoring - from pre-algebra to pre-calculus (with the picture puzzle that is Geometry thrown in) and all those tricky trap SAT problems, I have seen it all and learned one thing - understanding what to do rather than just doing the steps helps a student learn Math for themselves. Learning for one's self is the key to personal growth...and those all important better grades.
