About Me

I hold a Master's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Master's degree in English/Writing from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. I loved school and want to help my students love it, too. My goal is to inspire students to embrace lifelong learning as a way to broaden their perspectives and enhance their lives. I have tutored English language learners with all levels of English proficiency, from beginners to more advanced students. In Texas, I have tutored many students from Latin American countries, helping them develop confidence in their communication skills. I concentrate on tutoring English and Literature, guiding students to build the communicative competence they need to express themselves confidently.
