About Me

As an enthusiastic educator with a Doctorate in English from the University of Arizona, I have about 20 years of experience in both tutoring and classroom instruction. My expertise encompasses a variety of subjects, including AP English Language and Composition, AP English Literature and Composition, and creative writing. I am dedicated to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment that empowers students to express themselves and enhance their critical thinking skills. By connecting with each student individually, I tailor my teaching approach to meet their unique needs and aspirations. I am passionate about guiding students through their academic journeys, helping them build confidence in their writing and analytical abilities. Outside of teaching, I find inspiration in reading and writing poetry and literature, which continually enriches my role as an educator.
