As a graduate from The Ohio State University, having graduated with a bachelor's of science in Zoology, I was a teaching assistant for comparative animal physiology, utilizing the tutoring style of delegator and facilitator in conjunction with the teaching philosophies of constructivism, essentialism, perennialism, and positivism. During my college career, I stumbled through pitfalls that I seek to guide others around so as to improve their learning experience and college career. In my TA position, I led a weekly recitation to help students reaffirm their understanding of lecture material, a skill I seek to bring to the topics of college biology and college physiology as I enjoy learning and tutoring subjects that are associated with evolution.

["My interest is in the life sciences","specifically through the lense of the theory of evolution. This allows me to understand whichever life science topic that I am learning from a big picture perspective while simultaneously learning details to each topic alongside the subject of evolution. The two hobbies I am most passionate about outside of academia are chess and Star Wars. Chess allows me to practice my skills that I use in the classroom in a context that is separate from academia and is renowned throughout the world. Star Wars is complex and has a multitude of characters to learn about and follow within the expanded universe."]
