About Me

I have been teaching biology for almost 20 years to students from middle school to graduate school. My Ph.D. is in cancer biology, and I'm passionate about talking about cell biology, genetics, and human disease. Over the past 10 years, I've taught Bioinformatics, Biochemistry, Genetics, Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, and Biology of Climate Change. My own research is on molecular and cellular mechanisms of the coral bleaching that is affecting reefs globally.
