About Me

I have been an educator for almost 20 years working with elementary age students primarily, but also tutoring students of various ages and backgrounds. I am a passionate teacher who loves helping students find joy in learning and growing in their abilities, and I try to meet individual needs through regular assessment, relationship building, and goal-setting. Learning should be fun and with the right support, learners can always find their way forward. If you are a K-6 student in need of help, I would love to help meet your needs. I particularly enjoy helping students grow a love for reading and writing, spelling, and other English Language Arts components, but can assist in most subjects. For those individuals who may need support in Bible/Religion courses, I also have a background in teaching and training in such courses and can assist there as well.
