About Me

I graduated from Universidad Nacional de Colombia; I received my BSN degree. In Colombia, I worked as a nurse for two years in different areas, such as surgery and occupational health. When I came to the United States, I took the NCLEX exam, which I passed. Then, I worked in Med-Surg. This is my first time teaching but I want to help other people to achieve the goal of passing the NCLEX. On the other hand, I am teaching my three-year-old daughter Spanish from the most basic concepts. I believe the best way to learn a language is by practicing everyday expressions and how to use common words. As a native Spanish speaker, I can help my students gain the confidence to maintain conversations and prepare for tests. I am passionate about teaching key concepts and critical thinking to resolve NCLEX questions and daily routines to organize and prioritize what each student needs to reinforce about the test or nursing. My philosophy is everything you want to learn you can do it and I am here to help in this process.
