About Me

Hi! My name is Ethan. I graduated from College of the Ozarks in the Spring of 2025 as an engineering and mathematics double major and am currently pursuing my master's degree in aerospace engineering at Missouri University of Science and Technology. I have two years of experience tutoring students in math, engineering, and physics. I am passionate about learning and love to help other learn! I enjoy tutoring engineering and physics because I love solving complex problems that are applicable to the real world. But I also enjoy teaching students the fundamentals because without an understanding of the fundamentals, complex problems are unsolvable. The best way for most students to learn is by doing problems themselves. My teaching style is to give students a push in the right direction and guide them to the correct answer. This creates a better understanding of the process than if I exclusively demonstrate problems myself without interaction from the student. Outside of academics, I love working with my hands, reading, writing, gaming, and being in nature.
