About Me

I hold a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Indiana University and a M.Sc. in Logic and Computation from Carnegie Mellon University. I have been a primary instructor and teaching assistant for 9 years on college-level classes, working closely with students from one-on-one to course-size groups. I focus on student success to ensure students understand the skills they are developing on any particular assignment. I am passionate about any subject in Philosophy, Ethics and Logic, but can just as easily tutor on conversational Spanish, writing, editing and critical thinking regardless of the subject matter. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I believe that Philosophy is a fundamental subject for students to exercise their thought and understand how to question the world around them. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking and learning computer programming.
