About Me
I am a graduate of Auburn University. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science with a focus in pre-veterinary science and a Master of Education in Agriscience Education. Since obtaining my degrees I have taught in the K-12 public school system for 15 years. I have worked with many students with varying learning disabilites. I also have family members that have been diagnosed with dyslexia that I have had the pleasure of helping through school. While I offer tutoring in a broad range of subject areas, I am most passionate about Math and Science. My students have always said that I have a unique way of making things make sense to them. I strive to find practical ways for students to understand complex content. I present a very hands-on approach that is especially helpful to kinesthetic and visual learners. I have had years of experience dedicated to preparing students for state assessments and college entrance exams. Life comes with a toolbox full of resources for you to use. When you have all the right tools in your toolbox, completing life's tasks becomes easier. I am invested in helping students fill their toolbox with all the right tools to help them achieve their goals. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, learning new crafts and skills, working on our family farm, and spending warm days on the water. I am an animal lover with a flourishing pet grooming business on the side.
Hobbies & Interests
I enjoy music, working with all types of animals, learning new crafts and skills, spending time with family, and spending time in the great outdoors.
