About Me

I am a graduate student at the University of Phoenix, studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Adult Education. I was a volunteer tutor for adults in Savannah, GA, who wanted to get their GED. Although I am relatively new to tutoring, I am passionate about English, Reading, and History. I find it particularly rewarding to help struggling students prepare for their GED, especially when we are prepping for the exams' Reading Comprehension and Writing portions. Education is essential for improving one's quality of life, and I strive to pass on this appreciation to my learners. I enjoy learning, reading, practicing yoga, and traveling with my family when I am not studying.
