About Me

I graduated in 2012 from St. Joesph's College in Indiana with a bachelor's in elementary education. Shortly, after I went to Alaska to teach Elementary Special Education in a remote location. I worked for 8 years in the Alaskan bush. During my time in a Yup'ik village, I obtained a master's in Special Education from Concordia University. In 2020, I transferred to a district level position of Itinerant Special Education Teacher. In this position, I was able to support all the district special education teachers by flying out by bush plane to help with a multitude of different tasks. In 2023, I obtained an additional mater's degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. The last 12 years have been full of great experiences in a very unique environment.
