About Me

I am an alumnus of Haverford College, graduating in 2002 with a Bachelors in Political Science and Education. I have taught in K-12 and Higher Education for over 20 years, working mostly with middle and high school grades. Having experienced working with students who were functioning at a lower level and having to move multiple grades in order to graduate or pass standardized testing, I know standardized testing inside out. I also enjoy making subjects like Math, history, Writing come to life and be more relevant to the student's learning experience. I believe that knowing the why helps you better understand the what and makes it easier to identify the what when you need to later.
