About Me

I am a native Spanish speaker, a graduate of Cesar Vallejo University in Peru. I received my Bachelor of Education in languages: Spanish, English and French. Since graduation, I worked as a Spanish and English teacher. Four years later, I earned a Master's degree in University teaching. This opened me more doors to keep doing what I like most. I worked as a professor in many universities and also had private clients (mostly children from primary and secondary school) and adults (undergraduates). I have enjoyed helping my students to achieve their goals at school when I was in Peru and now that I am in Canada. I am most passionate about English and Spanish. In my experience helping struggling students prepare for their regular assessments and final tests, we always seem to have so much fun while learning the language. I enjoy helping with some techniques for their reading and writings. I am a strong believer that the process of learning is successful when it happens in a stress free environment. I also motivate my students to learn more than 1 language. The experience showed me that knowing more than 1 language, offers the opportunity of improving the quality of life. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, doing zumba, and running.
