About Me

Teaching is a part of who I am. I find that I am at my best and I help to bring out the best in others when I help people. All my life, I have been quick to pick up on new concepts and absorb as much information as I can. This has given me countless opportunities to tutor my peers on new material that we learn, as well as teach my coworkers new things. My teaching style is very interactive and participative. I like to focus on building a strong foundation of basic concepts of a subject, then integrating these into higher level applications. I have received two degrees from Arizona State University. A BA in Global Studies from their College of Liberal Sciences and an MGM (Masters of Global Management) from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. This included a semester studying Spanish and other global subjects at Veritas Universidad in San Jose, Costa Rica. I am well versed in many business subjects, especially Finance, Cost Accounting, and Marketing. I aspire to further my education in the near future studying Data Analytics and Programing working towards a BS in the field. I currently tutor in MS Excel and other spreadsheets; and I am open to tutor in basic Spanish, business related fields, and international affairs. My favorite subject to tutor in is MS Excel. I have worked heavily in this program, and Google Sheets, for the last 5 years in my profession and working in spreadsheets and databases has become one of my favorite activities. When I am not working, I am usually off cooking and learning new recipes, playing with my son, golfing, skateboarding my neighborhood, and keeping up on current events.
