About Me

I am an elementary educator with over 14 years of teaching experience in both international and U.S. classrooms. I currently teach Grade 3 and specialize in helping students strengthen their literacy, numeracy, and confidence as independent learners. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse learners, including multilingual students and those who benefit from differentiated instruction and targeted academic support. My teaching philosophy centers on building student confidence, curiosity, and ownership of learning. I believe students learn best when they feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to think critically. In tutoring sessions, I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, using clear explanations, visual supports, and guided practice so students can truly understand the material, not just memorize it.
