About Me

KON NICHI WA. I am native Japanese. I have been tutoring Japanese language and Art since 2017. I teach several tutoring classes per week which include adults and kids(over 6th grade) from beginners to intermediates, online and in person. Also, I have been teaching the language classes in Boulder Valley School District from time to time. I have taken 420 hours Professional Japanese teaching Program in Japan in 2015 in Human Academy. In spring and summer time I am teaching Anime-Style drawing in Boulder School of Fine Art. As a native Japanese, It is a great honor seeing each time when people are interested in learning the Japanese language. All languages come from culture. People built their language from their lifestyle. My lesson will be a time for fun. We play games, play shopping / haircut / restaurant and more to simulate that you are living in Japan. You can also see some Japanese cultural background through the lesson specially learning from native Japanese. I use original handmade materials for my lessons. I am always excited to see my students speak with their own words in Japanese! Same as for my art students, I am excited to see each students ONE AND ONLY masterpiece. There are no limits in your improvement.
