About Me

Hi! I'm Ruting, a dedicated Mandarin tutor with over three years of experience teaching more than 70 students of various ages and backgrounds. I hold a Master's degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Dalian Maritime University. I'm easy-going, open-minded, and caring, and I love tailoring my lessons to each student's unique needs and goals. Learning Mandarin can seem challenging, but together we can make it fun and rewarding. Language is a bridge to culture, friendship, and a history that spans thousands of years. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, exploring local cafs, hiking, cycling, and learning new languages like French and Japanese.
