About Me

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2016 from Liberty University. I have been a tutor for several years, beginning as a flute instructor in 2014. Since that time, I have tutored flute and ESL classes to students of different ages. I am intentional about making sure students learn the material and complete their assignments, but I also enjoy interacting with the students and getting to know them as people. As a homeschool graduate, I highly value the benefits of one-on-one interaction, and I believe all students should be treated with dignity and respect. I also strive to create a low stress, interactive environment for my students so that they feel comfortable enough to learn and express themselves. Outside of my work as a tutor, I also have experience as a therapeutic support staff (TSS), and also as a teacher at a daycare for medically fragile children. I also enjoy writing and have several published articles and unpublished projects (including a historical fiction novel and a movie script). In all my endeavors, I strive to honor Jesus Christ with my work and to be a blessing to others.
