I believe every student can be successful with the right support, encouragement, and instruction. As a licensed North Carolina teacher with experience in elementary education, special education, adult learning, and childcare settings, I understand that every learner is unique. My goal is to build confidence, strengthen skills, and help students discover that they are capable of more than they realize. I hold bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and Spanish from Western Carolina University, a master's degree in Human Services Counseling from Liberty University, and I am currently pursuing an EdD in Special Education: Curriculum and Instruction. I am licensed in Elementary Education (K-6) and Special Education (Mild-Moderate). Whether a student needs remediation, enrichment, or simply a different approach to learning, I strive to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions, taking risks, and celebrating their progress.
