About Me

I am currently a student at Stony Brook University working on my BS in Health Science. Previously, I attended the Bronx High School of Science and graduated with honors. I am also certified as an EMT. I have tutored students from both middle school and high school and have work as a TA for multiple summers. I am able to tutor admissions tests such as the SHSAT and SAT as well as many topics such as biology, chemistry and more. I find that SHSAT and SAT are the most fun to tutor because of how straightforward most of the questions are. As a pretty outgoing person, I would best describe my teaching style as engaging and interactive. I want tutoring sessions not to seem like a lecture, but a back and forth between the student and I. In my free time, I like to practice my trumpet, exercise and meditate with my window open (excluding winter).
