About Me

As a native Chinese Mandarin speaker, I had been working full-time as a book editor in a Chinese university press for 19 years before I moved to the United States. I worked to help writers communicate information accurately, clearly and concisely, to ensure the written text to be published is consistent and grammatically and factually correct. This job entailed an excellent command of the Chinese language. I'm now teaching Chinese Mandarin to a broad group of students and levels. I provide learner-centered lessons to respond to your specific learning situations, goals, strengths and needs. I'm patient and friendly. I look forward to helping you with your Chinese!
