I am a graduate of Wesleyan University, where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with High Honors. With eight years of experience working in education, I've tutored students in math, science, history, and English, as well as helped students prepare for standardized tests. I've guided adults towards passing the US Citizenship Exam and taught English in India, where I lived for six months. Whenever I work with a student I personalize the lessons to fit their particular learning style, since I know every student is unique and having the right fit can make all the difference in making learning fun and effective. For college, I moved to Houston to attend Rice University, where I majored in Psychology. I then earned a masters degree in Religion at Yale and I am now working towards a degree in Bioethics at UPenn. I also completed the premedical requirements during this time.

Because I majored in Neuroscience, I have expertise in a wide range of sciences, as Neuroscience is a very interdisciplinary subject. I have also had extensive experience in Computer Science. I am a third-year student pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Human Development and Psychological Services and Psychology at Northwestern University's School of Education and Social Policy. Before coming to Northwestern, I had the privilege to grow up with good teachers under a rigorous IB curriculum in Shanghai, China, granting me access to quality education that I know many of my peers and other students across the world do not have. I've guided students with special needs aged 3-14 through summer program activities in Shanghai, coordinated an after-school program for K-12 refugee students in Chicago, and interacted with secondary school students in Jinja, Uganda. Since my first year in college, I've worked as a tutor for a morning program in an elementary school in Evanston. I'm passionate about guiding high schoolers through the college application process. The admissions process is probably one of the most confusing, anxiety-inducing experiences you'll have in high school, but I'm full of ideas for making the entire process as successful and stress-free as possible. I've successfully guided many students through every stage of admissions -- from figuring out where to apply and then staying organized and on-track, to "packaging" themselves and producing a perfect personal statement -- and I love witnessing them achieve their admissions dreams.

I am a recent UCLA graduate and I double majored in German and Philosophy. I graduated with departmental honors for both of my majors, as well as college honors. I also studied at Humboldt Universitt Berlin. While my majors seem very niche, they helped me develop great argumentative writing skills as well as an attention to detail.
