I am an interdisciplinary educator with an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a B.A. from Dartmouth College. My background is primarily in integrated arts learning and museum education and I specialize in visual arts, history and art history, and object-based learning. In all subjects, I take a creative, inquiry-based and learner-centered approach, designing opportunities for each unique individual to meet their learning goals.

I am a PhD student at the University of Michigan, studying social psychology. Before this, I was at Duke University completing a BS in psychology as well as a MS in global health. My research combines the fields of global health and psychology by examining the effects of culture on self-related psychological processes. I hope to continue in academia to become a professor of psychology, as teaching is among my greatest passions.

I am an aspiring character artist for games and currently work as a prop artist. I received my studio art bachelors in 2018 and a 3D modeling diploma in 2020. I tutor for drawing, digital painting, digital sculpting, 3D modeling and texturing for games. I believe in student-centered learning and prioritize building observational skills and fostering creativity. I think the best way for a student to learn is through discovery led by careful guidance.

I am incredibly excited to dedicate myself to helping students amidst one of the greatest public health crises of our time. I have worked with students at both ends of the academic spectrum on not only traditional classroom subjects but also in a 'future preparation and planning' context. I am passionate about finding the best way for a student to learn and often times that encourages me to get outside of my comfort zone and re-imagine the problems in a way my student can best understand them. I am a senior undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania studying Political Science, as well as a research assistant studying violence against women. Becoming a truly successful college student often requires using an interdisciplinary approach to a given subject. I strive to bring what I have learned at a top University to high school students.

I am a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, with a BA in English Literature, and New York University, with an MA in Arts Administration. I truly enjoy learning so much that Ive studied various subjects at over 10 additional colleges across the United States and Europe, starting in high school! Im also a student of life, attending special seminars (like Landmark and Tony Robbins) whenever I get the chance. Over the past 15 years, Ive had the pleasure of teaching in many different settings. Ive been a museum educator, a classroom teacher (teaching either math, science, English or art), an education program manager, a leadership trainer (teaching a leadership curriculum through the arts), a yoga instructor, and a tutor. Because Im so passionate about learning, its a pleasure for me to inspire my students to discover their own passions and reach their goals. In my spare time, I enjoy world traveling, reading, yoga, stand-up paddle boarding, swimming, making art and exploring South Florida. I am a Master of Architecture candidate at Columbia University with a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Colgate University. While I tutor several subjects, I am very passionate about mathematics and physics because of the tangible progress which I am able to help students achieve, and I enjoy working with students of all ages and abilities. I have been a mathematics and physics tutor for the last eight years and have worked with students enrolled in middle school, high school, and university courses. As a tutor I work to build my students confidence and independence. In my spare time, I enjoy drawing and playing volleyball and tennis.

I'm a recent graduate from Reed College where I majored in Political science with additional concentrations in environmental science, sociology, philosophy, and 3D art.

I am a graduate of the University of Maryland, with degrees in physics, astronomy, and studio art. During my time at university I was a member of the Physic Education Research group, conducting studies into the best methods of math and physics pedagogy. Although I am most accomplished in physical science education, my methods are applicable to all kinds of science. I have also studied history and literature extensively as a matter of personal passion. My goals as a tutor reach beyond simply grasping the material at the level which it is presented--I aim to give students the intellectual and emotional tools to grasp underlying principles of any field, and the confidence to believe that this is something they can achieve under their own power. In my spare time, I write fiction and paint, and I love the outdoors.

I'm excited to share my passion of math and design with others. I enjoy applying concepts learned in the classroom to real-life situations. It's not just about learning what we are supposed to learn, but rather understanding why it is important and what we can do with it.

I'm currently a substitute teacher working towards my Master's in Teaching (Science, Secondary), my primary interest is in writing new, comprehensive and engaging material which makes sense to students. I love students of all ages, I enjoy watching the "lightbulbs" go one when they understand a difficult concept, or when they are elated because they remember a fact they couldn't before. I am young and I am still learning, and I can't wait to become an even better tutor!

I'm Angie! I am a senior at Arizona State University in the Barrett Honors College studying Psychology and Studio Art. I was an honors/AP student throughout high school and have exceeded on AIMS and the SAT. I enjoy working with my students to make sure we are going over material in a way that they can most efficiently learn the material while still enjoying the learning process.

I am currently attending Temple University for Art Education, Art History, and Community Arts. I have been working in educational roles for the past 2 and a half years.
