This course provides the student a solid foundation in carpentry skills and knowledge. The course providesan overviw of the buildng materals used in the carpentry cra, as wel as teaching techniques or rainand using blueprints and specifications related to the carpentry craft. The course provides specificknowledge and skills in site layout and floor and wall framing systems, and includes basic industryterminology for a carpentry craftsperson.
Prerequisites: Industry Fundamentals and Occupational Safety and Introduction to Construction
