Forensic Science 3 is an in-depth exploration of the principles, methodologies, and technologies employed in modern forensic investigations. Designed for students with a foundational understanding of forensic science, this course delves into advanced techniques in crime scene analysis, evidence collection, and laboratory procedures. Students will engage in case studies of historical and contemporary criminal investigations which will provide real-world applications, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Students will also be demonstrating their mastery of laboratory techniques through designing an experiment, collecting data, and presenting their findings. The course emphasizes the integration of scientific rigor and ethical practices, preparing students for careers in forensic science, law enforcement, or related fields. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing forensic tools, constructing detailed forensic reports, and applying multidisciplinary approaches to solving complex cases.
