Woodinville High School – Tju110 – Journalism

By enrolling in this course, students will become members of the Woodinville News staff. This course will introduce students to all aspects of journalism, including but not limited to journalistic ethics, news writing, reporting, interviewing, photography, editing, and audio/video production. Students will report on happenings relevant to our school community by creating content for the school news website. Over the course of the year, students will complete units on news writing, photojournalism, audio reporting, and video production. In addition to creating their own news coverage, students will read and discuss current events, using these examples as mentor texts.
