Indiana Studies is a course that provides students with a unique approach to studying the paradigm between state and national levels of government within our federal system. Themes of economics, history, politics, and culture will be examined throughout this course. This course will delve into the founding documents of Indiana and the United States, examining how they serve as tools of democratic governance.  Students will also analyze the political role that individuals have played in the development of Indiana and the United States. This course will satisfy one semester as an elective in Social Studies.
