Winters Mill High – Ensemble Participation

Ensemble Participation provides opportunities for appropriate combinations of instruments to meet on a regular basis and study by performing some of the great music composed for small ensembles (string quartets, woodwind quintet, brass quintet, percussion ensemble, etc.). In some schools, the percussion ensemble of this course functions as the percussion sections of the various Bands and Wind Ensembles.
Prerequisites: Permission of the instructor is required prior to selecting this activity. Ensemble Participation may be repeated for credit. Performance attire as well as additional rehearsals and performances may be an expectation.
