Winters Mill High – Mixed Media

This honors level course is intended for students who wish to extend experiences in three-dimensional art processes such as sculpture using a variety of media. Students will create individual projects using clay, wood, metal or other appropriate materials. Sculptural skills learned in Ceramics and in Two- and Three-Dimensional Art will be employed in the production of artwork. Successful completion of this course will develop the student’s foundation portfolio in preparation for Advanced Placement Studio Art. Students should expect some financial responsibility for advanced art materials.
