This advanced level United States Government course is offered for both college and high school credit. It is a rigorous course taught at the college level that includes the study of the structure and function of government and the development of political behaviors and philosophies, as well as an examination of current governmental issues and events. Successful completion of this course will provide students with college level GOVT2305 American National Government, which is accepted at most Texas colleges and universities, as well as many-out of-state institutions. This course can be taken on an FBISD high school campus taught by an approved FBISD instructor or at a local community college. Please see “Dual Credit” sections for more information.
