Introduces the fundamental concepts of structured programming and provides a comprehensive introduction to programming for computer science and technology majors. Topics include software development methodology, data types, control structures, functions, arrays, and the mechanics of running, testing, and debugging. This course assumes computer literacy. Students must be TSI ready in Math and English CST300 - AP Computer Science Principle 1 credits / Full year course / Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12 AP Computer Science Principles introduces students to the foundational concepts of computer science and challenges them to explore how computing and technology can impact the world. With a unique focus on creative problem solving and real-world applications, AP Computer Science Principles prepares students for college and career. This course may be used to satisfy LOTE requirement for graduation. This course fulfills the Engineering Academy computer science course requirement.
