White Station High – Aquatics

This course is designed for students to receive Lifeguard and CPR training and certification. Students will be able to use this training in real-life situations, reduce the number of children who drown in public and private pools and provide at-risk students the opportunity to compete in competitive swimming. This course may be used as one of the cluster of elective courses for the Program of Study (POS) Human Performance or Athletic Management. This course will also be used to fulfill the .5 Physical Education requirements for graduation. Students enrolled in “Make A-Splash” or participates on SCS swim teams may receive credit for their participation.
