Westminster High – Independent Study - Student Service Learning

This course is designed for 11th and 12th grade students who are involved in approved service activities in the school/community. Students must present a proposal to their principal for prior approval which includes the three critical components of service-learning: preparation, action, and reflection.
Prerequisites: Students may earn ten (10) service-learning hours for the ½ credit course, twenty (20) hours for the 1 credit course, and forty (40) hours for the 2-credit course.
