Westfield High – Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (Afjrotc 1)

This full-year course is the first in a sequence that teaches citizenship, character development, leadership, teamwork, self-discipline, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills with a study of the fundamental aspects of health, wellness, and physical fitness. Course study includes an overview of aviation history, as well as the opportunity to study military customs, drills, and the proper wear of the Air Force uniform. The Air Force JROTC program provides a four-year, sequential program of instruction for all students in grades 9 - 12.
