Westfield High – Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (Afjrotc 4)

Students will demonstrate leadership skills as a role model, as a mentor, and as a coach. While serving in leadership positions, students will assist the instructors in managing the Corps of Cadets, with instruction in communication skills, drills, and proper wear and respect for the Air Force uniform. This course affords students the opportunity to put leadership theories into practice by using their communication, decision-making, managerial, and organizational skills. The course also includes career exploration and reviews possible life experiences in the Air Force. The Air Force JROTC program provides a four-year, sequential program of instruction for all students in grades 9 - 12.
