Level IV German enables students to assume leadership roles in both classroom and extracurricular activities related to German. Students of this level will be able to give presentations, interpret complex situations, and read for comprehension. Level IV German students creatively use the language to produce poetry, prose, and compositions. Students will read a full-length work of historical fiction. Students also combine their knowledge of historical periods and artistic genres to make connections in their relationship. A concise review of grammar is also included. The course is conducted in German, and students are expected to use as much German as possible.
