Fashion & Textiles Capstone prepares students for occupations and higher education programs of study related to the entire spectrum of careers in the fashion industry. This careers-course will focus on portfolio development, planning and producing our annual fashion show, collegiate scholarship submissions, job shadowing and work-based learning opportunities. Students are responsible for the expense of their own materials. Capstone is an optional, additional experience, but not required to meet the graduation requirements.  \*\*Students are responsible for all materials needed for portfolio work if they choose the “in-house” option for fall semester only. No matter the career choice, students will be involved in the world of business. Students may choose to specialize in Marketing or Accounting, or decide that the IB Business Management program is right for them. Business offers many opportunities to explore and assist students in making decisions about where they want to end up after high school. The national Career and Technical Student Organization, DECA, is part of the Business area. Any student who has taken a business course is eligible to join this program.
