Prerequisite for Fashion and Textiles B Fashion & Textiles A prepares students for occupations and higher education programs of study related to the entire spectrum of careers in the fashion industry. This course provides a basic knowledge of apparel construction and principles of design as applied to clothing. Major topics include trend forecasting, fashion illustration, fit analysis, and garment construction. Students will complete their own designed garments to showcase at the end of the year CHS Fashion Show.. Students are responsible for the expense of their own patterns, fabric and notions. \*\*Students will have the opportunity to earn dual credit through Ball State University if they meet the requirements. Fees apply.
