The purpose of this course is to enable students to perform highly advanced work in the production of journalism across print, multimedia, web, and broadcast/radio platforms and to develop extended knowledge of journalism history, ethics use, and management techniques related to the production of journalistic media. School, community, and professional publication is expected. **Honors and Advanced Level Course Note:** Academic rigor is more than simply assigning to students a greater quantity of work. Through the application, analysis, evaluation, and creation of complex ideas that are often abstract and multi-faceted, students are challenged to think and collaborate critically on the content they are learning.
