Vocal Music instruction. Students learn about different instruments, sounds, and music concepts adapted to their abilities.

Physical education adapted for students with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Instruction in domestic living, personal care, workplace skills, leisure/recreation, cooking skills, hand washing, recycling, sorting/folding laundry, washing dishes, and cleaning. Students work on functional skills to support independence at home and in the community.

Library and media center instruction provided by a media specialist.

Adapted Environmental Life Science providing hands-on learning experiences in science. Includes plant propagation and care in the school greenhouse, studying nature using the nature trail, and learning about environmental topics.

Modified academic instruction using the Unique Learning System and Attainment Curriculum aligned with South Carolina state standards. Covers basic literacy, numeracy, and academic concepts adapted to students' functional levels.

Instruction in communicating basic wants and needs using augmentative communication, assistive technology, touch screen computers, iPads, Chromebooks, sign language, and picture symbols.

M.O.V.E. program providing mobility instruction and skills for students with physical disabilities.

Community-based instruction for students aged 13 and older. Students participate in community trips to practice functional skills in real-world settings such as shopping, visiting restaurants, and community activities.

Vocational and life skills program where older students prepare and sell meals to staff. Students work on communication skills, workplace skills, food preparation, customer service, using sign language and assistive technology.

Life Skill of the Month curriculum focusing on practical daily living skills through daily practice, reading books, and hands-on activities. Includes independence skills that can be carried over to home and community.
