Walnut Creek Elementary – INSTRUCTIONAL PRACTICES

Instructional Practices is designed to offer a field-based (practicum) internship that provides students with a background knowledge of child and adolescent development as well as principles of effective teaching and training practices. Students work under the joint direction and supervision of both a teacher with knowledge of early childhood, middle childhood, and adolescence education and exemplary educators or trainers in direct instructional roles with elementary, middle, and high school age
Prerequisites: Prior to acceptance, students must undergo a criminal background check and must be clear of any misdemeanor or felony convictions and be 16 years of age. Recommended
