Precision Metal Manufacturing I provides the knowledge, skills,and technologies required for employment in metal technologysystems. This course may also address a variety of materials inaddition to metal such as plastics, ceramics, and wood. Studentsdevelop knowledge of the concepts and skills related to thesesystems to apply them to personal and career development. Thiscourse supports integration of academic and technical knowledgeand skills. Students have opportunities to reinforce, apply, andtransfer knowledge and skills to a variety of settings andproblems. Knowledge about career opportunities, requirements,and expectations and the development of workplace skillsprepare students for success.
