Unit 4: Leadership Education and Training (LET) 4 - ManagingLeader is the final stage of the JROTC program, where Cadets stepinto advanced leadership and management roles within thebattalion, school, and community. Lessons focus on mentoringyounger Cadets, working with instructors, and fosteringcontinuous improvement as team leaders. Cadets also beginplanning for life beyond high school by developing accountabilitystrategies and a 10-year plan for future success. They strengthentheir ability to motivate and communicate effectively, leadcompany and battalion drills, and manage service learningprojects using real project management tools. In addition, theyexamine the role of citizenship and government in addressingchallenges to democratic values, preparing them to becomeresponsible leaders and engaged citizens beyond the program.
