SCHEDULE FULL YEAR. Scientific Research and Design is abroad-based course designed to allow districts and schoolsconsiderable flexibility to develop local curriculum to supplementany program of study or coherent sequence. The course has thecomponents of any rigorous scientific or engineering program ofstudy from the problem identification, investigation design, datacollection, data analysis, formulation, and presentation of theconclusions. These components are integrated with the career andtechnical education emphasis of helping students gain entry-levelemployment in high-skill, high-wage jobs and/or continue theireducation. Students must meet the 40% laboratory and fieldwork
