Valley High – Agricultural Cooperative Internship

Students in an agricultural program, in the senior year, may earn up to two credits for their work experience in an agricultural-related business. The work experience in a business setting will be an extension of the classroom program and provide the student with onthe-job experiences. The place where the student works must be preapproved by the program coordinator. An agreement detailing the cooperative work experiences to be gained by the student will be agreed upon and signed by the employer, student, student's parents, and the program coordinator. Experiences gained in this course will be valuable as the student transitions from school to the world of work or post-secondary education.
Prerequisites: 2.5 overall GPA, $94 %$ attendance (previous semester). Parents are responsible for student transportation. This is the culminating course for the CASE Natural Resources completer program only. All courses in the completer sequence must be completed prior to the internship.
