University High School – Eurhythmics 3

The purpose of this course is to provide students with instruction in the development of advance level skills in the art of performing various bodily movements in rhythm using musical accompaniment. The content will include the further development of knowledge and application of techniques indigenous to various eurhythmics’ styles, dance terminology and choreography. Acquisition of technique and choreography should be stressed. Costs and/or fees may be required. After school rehearsals, performances, and/or instruction are a graded requirement of this course. Marching Band is a co-curricular graded part of this course, and after school/outside of school rehearsals and performances will be required.
